THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Hi, I’m Mike Munroe

I created the Vancouver Island Visual Archive to document the place I call home. I’m drawn to its shifting weather, rugged coastlines, hidden highlands, and the smaller moments that are easy to miss.

Most of this work comes from time spent outdoors, watching light change, waiting out tides, chasing fog, and returning to the same places in different seasons. These images are my record of what Vancouver Island looks and feels like when you’re out there experiencing it.
